LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT VIRTUAL CONFERENCE
LDVC: 2020 VISION

August 3rd - August 7th
what is ldVc 2020?
Based on the principles of the LA Region Leadership Development Camp, the Leadership Development Virtual Conference is committed to training and empowering youth in their communities. LDVC is an international, five-day virtual conference sponsored by the American Red Cross where high school students are able to cultivate core life skills such as teamwork, public speaking, and diversity/cultural understanding. As American Red Cross volunteers, staff members create sessions and activities that reinforce delegates’ individual and team leadership skills. Youth form lifelong friendships and become leaders who make a difference in their communities. Even though LDVC 2020 is inspired by the LA Region LDC, we still highly recommend attending LDC in a later year as they are different experiences.
The American Red Cross Leadership Development Virtual Conference cultivates core leadership skills and empowers individuals to make a positive impact in their lives and communities through programs facilitated by youth, for youth.
We are dedicated to understanding and empowering youth by treating one another with care and respect.
We work together to build meaningful relationships, embrace diversity, and emphasize inclusivity.
We seek new ideas, are open to change, and always look for better ways to serve others.
We aim to foster leadership and youth development to connect and better serve our communities.
With the goal of creating future leaders, we strive to create a safe environment to support learning and growth by upholding our mission.
